The Sinfonietta was composed in 1944/45 and is dedicated to the conductor Paul Kletzki, who premiered it in Lausanne in 1946. It is one of the key works of the master, who died at an early age.
Composed in the summer of 1948, 'Suite baroque à la française' presents the traditional dance movements (Prélude, Sarabande, Sicilienne, Récitatif). Worthwhile.
