Peter Michael Haas, pianist and keyboardist in various rock, fusion and jazz formations, discovered late under the influence of music, among other things. von Astor Piazzolla expressed his love for the accordion and tango. Since then he has undertaken international concert tours, among others. with the singer Karsten Troyke and the duo ensemble 'Váci Utca', co-founded the 'Trio Milonga' and the ensemble 'Neuer Tango Berlin' and played in the ensemble of the actress and singer Meret Becker on the German tour 'Nachtmahr'.

The second volume 'AkkordeonSpiel' of its successful accordion school 'Spiel Akkordeon' (AMA No. 610252) for advanced players, does not build on 'classical' playing material, but on lively music examples from world music. The motto of this book 'Music around the globe': Musette waltzes, Eastern European Sirbas and Horas from the Jewish Klezmer repertoire, tangos, Afro-Cuban rhythms, blues and jazz are the subject here. The knowledge of chords on buttons and keys extends to the basic jazz harmonies; Step by step, the sense of rhythm is expanded to include the preferred accents of rock music, the basics of the blues and swing feeling and the syncopated accents of Latin music. A series of workshop pieces with associated playback recordings challenge and promote the knowledge of chords, help to improve timing, give the opportunity to try small improvisations and thus prepare for playing with other musicians. In other words: lots of new game material with explanations and exercises.
