The practice pieces and songs - each for horn in Bb and F beginning in the smallest range with systematic introduction of the valves - are intended to promote the fun of horn blowing. Theoretical treatises on embouchure, breathing, etc. are placed at the end so that the practical instructions for the beginner are not interrupted. Basic musical knowledge is assumed for two reasons: First, it often turns out that horn students have already learned to read music in early musical education, and second, that for many horn is the second instrument they want to play. In the 2nd volume you will find suitable teaching material as well as appropriate literature, with which the horn student, who has just outgrown the initial difficulties, can steadily perfect his technique in a relaxed and playful manner.
