Description:
It is sometimes difficult for a music association to have all of its musicians present at every performance. Personal, family or professional commitments often mean that musicians are missing from smaller engagements to play parts that are essential for the correct interpretation of the chosen piece. With this collection, we would like to present an alternative with which an ensemble can play even if it is missing musicians. The pieces can be played with at least four musicians (parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 are 'obligatory'), but it is also possible to add another part (5 and/or 6 and/or 7 and/or 8). With an ensemble of around 20 musicians, the aim is that the pieces played can sound broad and voluminous if the parts are well distributed.
