With this flute school, beginners with or without previous musical knowledge learn the basics of flute playing in simple and understandable learning steps. The proven methodology of the school consists of a sensible ratio of target group appropriate pieces, targeted technical exercises, explanatory texts and practical musical knowledge. Music from all epochs of music history and from many countries enrich the offer and additionally there are many literature tips. The musical spectrum ranges from classical to jazz and from Renaissance to modern, and since the pieces are mostly arranged as duets for 2 flutes or with piano accompaniment, there are many possibilities for making music together. Improvising, playing by ear and composing by oneself are the common thread running through the entire textbook. The enclosed CD for playing along facilitates the introduction to the flute as an acoustic learning aid.
