Allen Vizzutti

Allen Vizzutti (b. September 13, 1952 in Missoula/Montana) is a U.S. trumpeter who is at home in both jazz and classical music, collaborating with renowned jazz greats and orchestras and appearing in well-known film scores. As a composer, he has also written a number of orchestral works and solo pieces and appears with us primarily in his capacity as a music educator with numerous books of etudes and his Allen Vizzuti Trumpet Method, a three-part instructional work for trumpet divided into Technical Studies, Melodic Studies, and Harmonic Studies.
