Immerse yourself in the captivating sonic world of wood with "Bois (2004/06)", published by the prestigious Edizioni Suvini Zerboni. This exquisite collection features ten short character pieces ("Dieci Pezzi Brevi"), specifically composed for solo marimba in a version for a 5-octave instrument. Each of the ten miniatures masterfully explores the extraordinary depth, warm resonance, and rhythmic nuances of the 5-octave marimba. Ranging from poetic, atmospheric sound colors to virtuoso, pulsating passages, this work both challenges and inspires percussionists. This high-quality performance score is an outstanding choice for sophisticated concert programs, competitions, or the advanced study of contemporary percussion literature—a rich addition to any modern repertoire!
