Jacob de Haan (born March 28, 1959 in Heerenveen, Netherlands), made a name for himself with a large number of arrangements and catchy compositions for symphonic wind band and vocal works with wind band and soloists.
The price-winner Jacob de Haan (Buma Classical Award and Buma Wind Music Award) is a cornetist, flugelhorn player, organist, School musician and a popular guest conductor for performances of his own works and a sought-after jury member at international competitions.
Master classes (in Germany as part of the Bavarian Music Academy and the Federal Academy for Musical Youth Education in Trossingen) complete Jacob de Haan's portfolio.
