Description:
A medium-groove, laid-back kind of chart that features some lush brass voicings. Opens with a rubato piano chorus with the rest of the rhythm section joining for the 2nd chorus. Winds have a flute soli leading into solos by muted trumpet and flute. Scored for a 5, 5, 5, 4 configuration; all saxes double on flute or clarinet. A tricky half-note triplet figure sets up the final chord, everyone has to count.
