Ain't Worth The Squeeze

Ain’t Worth the Squeeze is a toe tapping, hard swinging romp built on a classic C blues form. It leans into the big band tradition of humor, swagger, and surprise, where every riff and shout chorus brings a wink and a grin. The title says it all: sometimes the juice just is not worth the squeeze, but the band is sure going to have a good time trying. The piece pays homage to the sound of mid century swing and bop, giving players plenty of room to stretch out and audiences a reason to smile
