Description:
It's time to go to the cool school! Les Hooper keeps it laid back and relaxed for an intimate big band sound in this superb arrangement with written out or ad-lib solos for alto 1 and trumpet 2, tight ensemble voicings, and modest ranges. At mm. 135, keep it cool and mellow. A welcome addition to every library. (5:15)
