This composition is drawn basically from one 2-measure melodic/rhythmic figure. The rhythm is even-eighths with the melodic lines, often sequential developement of the main motif, combining the instrumental sections and weaving over harmonic pedals. Solos for Alto, Tenor, Trumpet, Trombone, and Guitar. Sax doubles. Opt'l parts for French honrs, Tuba, and Percussion. Recorded by Mike Vax Big Band on 'Live on the Road'.
