Description:
This exciting, uptempo samba for advancing groups is a great way to spotlight a fabulous trombone section on the familiar In A Mellow Tone or Rose Room chord changes. Trombones not only play the melody, but also the shout chorus, and each player in the section has changes for soloing. In his score notes, the composer suggests adding two or more Latin percussionists to the standard personnel when possible. A guitar chord chart by Jim Greeson is included in each set.
