Bob Curnow does his usual stellar job of arranging Pat Metheny's very popular tune 'James,' and he manages to add a lot of his own ideas to the arrangement. Soloists can be determined as you wish with a flexible middle section. This is a straight-eighth, Latinish chart with an abundance of saxophone solis and ensemble choruses. This requires soprano saxophone on the first woodwind part. Your band will love playing this infectious melody. 5-4-4-4 (with opt. 5th trumpet and trombone)
