Description:
This piece originally started as a short introduction and 16-measure melody for an educational video by the Jazz Ambassadors of the U.S. Army Field Band entitled Inside The Big Band. This moderately slow Basie-style chart for advancing groups contains nice melodic and harmonic movement, which encourages better ensemble playing. It isn't technically demanding, so more emphasis may be placed on achieving a laid back swing feel. A guitar chord chart by Jim Greeson is included in each set.
