The Dek-tette line-up was 3 Saxes, 2 Trumpets, Trombone, French Horn (TS), Piano, Bass & Drums. Our chart has been transcribed and adapted to be suitable for 5 Saxes, a single solo muted Trumpet and Rhythm. We have also included seven additional parts - Trumpets 2 - 4 & Trombones 1 - 4. If you wish your performance to be close to the Ella Fitzgerald version please use only 4 (AATT) or 5 reeds, the solo Trumpet and Rhythm section. There are no sax doubles and the vocal key is C throughout.
