Description:
Written as a tribute to Oliver Nelson,the piece features moving tonalities as well as a rhythmic feel which shifts between 4/4 and 6/8. Simple modal changes allow the soloist to stretch. Solos are for trombone, piano, and drums. Alto sax doubles flute, and soprano. Bari sax doubles bass clarinet. Alternate parts with no doubles are provided for both. Trumpet range: High C. Medium Difficult.
