Jazz Big Band Arrangement. Here is Med Flory's arrangement of The Claw as recorded by the Terry Gibbs Dream band in 1959. This same chart was later recorded by Woody Herman during his tour of Japan in 1982. This arrangement is pure fun and swings like crazy. This arrangement was written to feature Terry on vibes, but we have included optional Bb and Eb soloist parts so that it may be played with any featured soloist. This is not a transcription, as the original parts (as licensed from Terry Gibbs) were used to publish this arrangement. Ranges: Trumpet 1 to G6 Trombone 1 to B5
