This high-energy mambo chart has solo space for all of the saxophones but could be easily opened up for other soloists in the band. Careful research went into the creation of the rhythm section parts to insure an authentic Afro-Cuban groove. Scored for alto, tenor, bari, 2 trpts, 1tbn, piano, bass, and drums. Lead trumpet has to play high Dmultiple times, and may play an optional high E at the end. Medium difficult.
