Description:
A great introduction to salsa for the high school or young college ensemble. This tune is best played as a traditional Afro-Cuban groove with drum set, timbales, and congas, but it can be played effectively with drum set alone. Rhythm section parts are written out, but may be improvised. An optional vibes part is included. The open solo sections are written for Alto 1 & Trombone 1, but could be adapted to any instrument. 5-4-4, vibes, G,P,B,D.. Lead trumpet only to A. No doubles.
