Description:
Scarlatti, teacher and inseparable companion of King Ferdinand VI and Queen Barbara de Braganza, was a unique and privileged witness of the painful tensions between this couple and King Philip V and the ambitious Isabella of Farnese. His music, all of it dedicated to his pupil and queen Bárbara de Braganza, was a powerful antidote against the sadness of the Court.
