Studies of different disciplines that throughout the month of April 2001 traced a Verdian itinerary initiated in the Faculty of Philology of the Complutense University of Madrid, and which was continued in 3 professional conservatories of this community: Àngel Arias, Arturo Soria and Teresa Berganza. Musicians, philologists, performers, doctors dedicated to the singing voice, musicologists, opera enthusiasts... gathered among the public and among the speakers to bring to this Interdisciplinary Conference different points of view, with the intention of broadening the horizons of experts and laymen.
