Eckart Bücken

Lebensspuren

His (Bücken's) language is an 'elaborated' language of high poetic quality, which is important for our time and hopefully beyond. It is modern, formed with current metaphors and images that never seem pandering, i.e. flat and stupid. It respects the necessary distance that prevents kitsch and never moves at the level of cheap Christian products. He doesn't write popular one-hit wonders, nor does he use seemingly modern street German, but words with weight and brilliance, full of truth and oriented towards today. He is on the way to becoming a classic of our century. (Prof. Wolfgang Kabus in the foreword)
