Description:
The Norwegian composer Christian Sinding (1856–1941) wrote many lyrical songs, including "Sommerkveld" (Opus 36, No. 7: "Det er sommerkveld som da"). The accompaniment for the soloist should remain soft and subdued throughout, with muted cornets throghout the entire arrangement except the opening bars. Be sure to create a contrasting meno toward the end, so that the music gradually slows down and fades into the summer night. The audio files have been generated from the Music notation files.
