The title is a play on words, as it can allude both to the irregular time signature and to the need for a hero who arrives just in time to prevent a catastrophe. This short piece draws inspiration from the unmistakable tension and dynamism associated with the iconic theme from *Mission: Impossible*. Built upon a driving, irregular rhythm and striking instrumental accents, the work conveys a sense of urgency, intrigue, and calculated risk. The music unfolds in short, concise sections that alternate between stealth and action. A restless rhythmic motif propels the piece forward, suggesting covert movements and mounting tension, while sudden accents and dynamic contrasts evoke moments of danger and decisive action. Fragmented melodic ideas appear and disappear again, as if hinting at hidden plans or coded messages. Although the piece is stylistically an homage to Lalo Schifrin’s famous theme, it is not intended as an imitation, but rather as a playful exploration of the same dramatic language: striking rhythms, clear articulation, and an atmosphere of cinematic suspense. The result is a compact musical narrative—tense, energetic, and slightly mischievous—that invites the listener to imagine a secret mission unfolding in real time.
