I thought long and hard about whether I wanted to write a piece about corona, and whether this little virus even deserves to be mentioned? But strictly speaking, it's not a composition about the virus and the pandemic in 2020 and 2021. No, it's rather the start of a new phase of life. CHILDREN OF TIME describes the return to making music together, the new beginning of orchestral and band culture, the resurgence of the brass band scene and the pure joy of music. Finally free again according to the motto: "Keep on banding!"
