At Bergen's major annual Festival of Light in 2024, composer Bjarte Leithaug was invited to perform this Christmas song as a sing-along with 20–30,000 torch-bearing Bergen residents under the moonlight. The sing-along was instantly phenomenal, and now the entire western region of Norway knows this Christmas song.
