Erling Kjoek (1913-1999) was a Norwegian fiddler and a strong representative of the folk music from Nord-Gudbrandsdal.
My arrangement was originally written for Concert band as a commission from The Staff Band of the Norwegian Armed Forces for the Norwegian Military Tatoo. It is partially inspired by a recording from the folk music group Kvarts.
