Description:
Nordlys ("Northern Lights") is a journey through the soundscapes of the north, guided by the rune Raidho, the symbol of movement and inner search. The work follows four stages, like the phases of an initiatic journey. This composition was written in honor of my dear sister Jocelyne and her extraordinary musical career. The concept reflects her recent trip to Norway and the emotions and fascination this experience evoked.
