Description:
The musical, My Fair Lady, a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, is based on George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion. The show's 1956 Broadway production was a smash hit, setting a new record for the longest run of any major theatre production in history. It was followed by a hit London production, a popular film version, and numerous revivals and is often regarded as the 'the perfect musical'.Show Me, arranged by Mark Freeh, is taken from Act II and is when Liza storms out of Higgins' house to stumble outside into Freddy. Freddy protests that he is in love with her, but Liza is skeptical and brushes him off.
