Description:
The sheep Nimmer-Mäh can't say MÄH and bleat. Nor can it roar like a lion, run like a rabbit or knit like a mouse. It can't do anything. Or can it? Yes, it can! The special strength of Nimmer-Mäh sheep is that it stands up for others, because it doesn't look away when the mouse is wronged. "Meanness must not be allowed, so stand up for others", all the animals celebrate together in the final song. "Ein Schaf sagt MÄH" was awarded the special prize of the Landesakademie für die musizierende Jugend in Baden-Württemberg at the "Bühne frei" competition in 2024. This prize focuses on musical work with younger children. However, the rousing rhythms and catchy melodies are also a lot of fun for older primary school children. Due to the flexible instrumentation and numerous possibilities for a lively and colorful production, the MÄHsical is ideally suited for preschool, class and primary school choirs as well as for cooperation with theater groups. It can be performed in one voice with piano only or with a supplementary cello part and additional percussion. Older children can already try out easy polyphony. Playbacks are available. For children from 5 to 11 years.
