Description:
Henrike Thies-Gebauer's musical about human megalomania and the preservation of creation.
Elli moves to a big, beautiful city with her father. Everyone is doing well here. But after a while, she realizes that things are changing: The environment is getting polluted and there are more and more fights. Since the big tower is being built, which is supposed to reach up to the sky, people just don't seem to get along anymore.
The musical "Elli and the Tower" combines the biblical story of the Tower of Babel with current issues such as environmental pollution and the division of society. In rousing songs and lively, sometimes humorous scenes, the audience experiences how important cohesion and responsibility are for the future of our planet.
Cast: one- to two-part choir, soloists, piano, recorder (melody instrument, syntesizer ad lib.), bass; drums and guitar ad lib., for children from approx. 8 years, for teenagers and adults.
Ring binding.
