Description:
The scoring of the solos is based on the biblical model: "Beloved" = soprano solo / "Solomon" = baritone soloInspired by ancient models, the choir comments on and reflects individual images (scenes) and also takes on the role of the "poet".The notation of the spoken passages ("spoken" or "half-sung") for solos and choir is merely to be understood as an indication of the raising or lowering of the voice, i.e. not as an exact adoption of the fixed pitch. The present arrangement for two manuals and pedal should be expanded depending on the size of the organ. Attention should be paid to an extremely varied registration.

In addition to the given text template, the hymn "Ich will dich lieben, meine Stärke" (Text: A. Silesius / Melody: G. Joseph, 1657) is incorporated in the final part (finale).
