Description:

This gospel mass by Stephan Zebe offers a real gospel feeling for your choir life. He set the English mass text to music in six rousing and moving movements. The arrangements for the four-part choir and soloists are soulful and dynamic. The half-hour work is accompanied by piano or band. An accompaniment for rhythm section and wind instruments is available. In full line-up, including a Hammond B3, a playback is available for accompaniment in rehearsal or performance. For Stephan Zebe, "Kyrie – A Gospel Mass" is the consequence of bringing gospel music as contemporary church music into the church service and the church service into the concert. Wichtig ist ihm dabei, die Struktur der Messe als glaubens- und lebensnahe Form authentisch darzustellen und erlebbar zu machen. This gospel mass is one of our classics. It has been performed in over twenty countries worldwide.
