Spirituals continue to enjoy growing popularity, new formations are being founded every day and school and church choirs are getting to grips with their recruitment problems with this focus. This edition offers rousing original arrangements, published for the first time, in an authentic tonal language for two-part female or female vocal ensembles with piano accompaniment. They can also be performed solo, with the leading melody always in the upper voice. However, Graham Buckland's movements only really unfold in the two-part version with piano accompaniment.

All arrangements can be expanded or combined and are compatible with the "64 Spirituals a cappella" edition: a children's choir working with the new edition can perform together with a mixed choir that has rehearsed the earlier movements.
12 of the songs have been published in the "Spirituals" edition from the ComboCom series (BA 6699), where instrumental movements are available in a wide musical range.

- 33 exciting and varied arrangements
- For two female voices with piano
- All songs compatible with edition BA 7574
- Many songs compatible with edition BA 6699
