Description:
The 'Sparrow Mass' in an arrangement for women's choir
The 'Missa in C' KV 220 has established a firm place in the repertoire of many choirs to this day. The new series 'Bärenreiter Frauenchor' now includes the so-called 'Spatzenmesse', which owes its nickname to the characteristic violin motifs that appear throughout. The tenor and bass solos have been carefully distributed among the high voices. The original soprano and alto parts were largely retained unchanged in the solos and choir. Heribert Breuer preserves the substance of the original work and at the same time gives the mass a completely new and appealing sound character.
Arrangement for choir SMezAA based on the Urtext of the 'New Mozart Edition'
Easy-to-play piano reduction
