Description:
With "Prayer of Saint Francis", Gehrmans Musikförlag presents a deeply moving work for four-part women's choir (SSAA a cappella). The timeless prayer for peace by Saint Francis of Assisi forms the emotional foundation of this expressive composition, which is dedicated to the victims of violence and war. The rich harmonies and sensitive vocal writing unfold a unique intimacy, solace, and spiritual depth within the pure sound of an upper-voice ensemble. Ranging from tender, meditative passages to poignant climaxes, the piece conveys a universal message of reconciliation and hope. Available as a choral score, this work is an exceptional addition to the repertoire for ambitious sacred concerts, memorial events, and peace services.
