On a recent choir tour to Northern Europe, I noticed one of my choristers totally absorbed by this numbers game that swept the globe in 2005, so I tried it myself and am now a Sudoku addict! Sudoku, the choral piece, has an SSA voicing with piano accompaniment, and features counting in six languages. A great way for students to learn to count to 9 in Japanese, Italian, French, German, English and yes, Finnish. Try it out!
