Description:
Viegli (Lightly) is setting for upper voices by Latvian composer/arranger/performer, Laura Jēkabsone, of a text by Latvian poet, Imants Ziedonis (1933-2013). As with all arrangements and choral settings of Jēkabsone, there is a mastery of a cappella technique on display. The lightness of text is perfectly captured in the vocal writing.
