Description:
With Weihnachtshimmel, Alwin M. Schronen has created a new Christmas song in which the melancholy melody immediately catches the ear and touches the heart. The gentle prelude, which also introduces the third verse, turns the short verse song, in which the choir repeatedly changes from two-part to four-part phases, into a successful concert piece, which at the end wonderfully reflects in bright tones the shining eyes of children when they see the Christmas tree. The male choir version was composed for the "Gesamttiroler Wertungssingen 2022".
