Description:
An arrangement of Joseph Mosenthal's Closing Song of Gladness for men's choir (TTBB) and piano (with optional Oboe or C Instrument) by Alexander Sellin. Mosenthal was born in Kassel, Germany, and moved to New York City at the age of 19. Living there for the remainder of his life, he was the organist at Calvary Church and also played first violin in the New York Philharmonic. This work, originally for women's voices and piano, has been adapted and transposed for men's voices with piano accompaniment. The oboe (or C instrument) part provided can be used in a variety of ways: as introductory material, for interludes, or to play along with the choir.
