Fred Waring was a bandleader, Choral director and choir trainer in the US for much of the 20th century. His Vocal groups, The Fred Waring Singers with his band The Pennsylvanians, were wildly popular, sellingmillions of records of songs like Battle Hymn of the Republic, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes and White Christmas.
