Description:
A well-known song by Hannes Wader.
With its catchy melody, "Heute hier, morgen dort"—as performed by Hannes Wader—became a modern folk song. The song describes the outlook on life of someone who is always on the move and never asks about "yesterday and tomorrow." It first appeared in 1972 on Wader’s album "7 Lieder." The original song is called "Indian Summer" and was written by the American musician Gary Bolstad, who studied veterinary medicine in Berlin in the 1960s. The German lyrics are by Hannes Wader. He has opened his concerts with this song since 1972.
