"Highland Cathedral" was produced, arranged, and composed in 1982 and released as a single by Uli Roever and Michael Korb. This original version was performed on the bagpipes by Michael Korb. It is played by all Scottish pipe bands and is one of the most famous bagpipe melodies in the world. For our choral arrangement, Bernd Stallmann has written a religious text ("Praise the Lord, the King of this World") and a secular text ("Let Us Stand Together as Friends") that complement this impressive and catchy melody perfectly. With or without piano accompaniment, this choral arrangement is suitable for all occasions!
