Description:
Bring festive elegance to the Advent season with "Zwei kleine Adventsmotetten" (Two Little Advent Motets), published by Schott Musik. These exquisite choral settings based on the traditional melodies "Es flog ein Täublein weiße" and "Der Morgenstern ist aufgedrungen" create a deeply touching, contemplative atmosphere for both concerts and liturgical services.
Scored for four-part male choir (TTBB), the work offers remarkable performance flexibility: the male voices can be beautifully paired with a solo soprano or an additional children's or women's choir. The accompaniment is equally versatile—whether performed purely a cappella, with organ, or enriched by oboe and strings. This choral score is an inspiring addition to the festive repertoire of ambitious vocal ensembles.
