Back in 2008, Peter Müller published 30 three-part settings of Paul Gerhardt's hymns. Now the second volume of the "3-part choral settings for the Paul Gerhardt Hymnal" has been published, which is dedicated to the themes of Passion, Easter and Pentecost.
The simple but effective arrangements are suitable for every small choir as well as for the large choir and will delight performers and listeners alike.
The Paul Gerhardt Hymnal, the first complete edition of all 139 hymns by Paul Gerhardt, was published in 2007 by PH-Musics to coincide with the Paul Gerhardt Year.
