It is a message of hope and comfort in times of trouble and anxiety, truly a song for our time. Hayes' initial melody is quite beautiful and lyrical, underscoring the message of calm and peace. Expertly using polyphonic sections as well as 4-part chorale-like sections, Hayes builds toward the triumphant B section which proclaims, I am the force of love that moves through the universe, that holds you fast, that holds you close, that will never let you go ... certainly reassuring words. This anthem concludes with a calming polyphonic section, weaving together each voice part with the promise, All shall be well. This anthem is suitable for general use, for memorial services or times when we as believers need reassurance.
