Description:
This striking a cappella work invites listeners into a world of quiet reflection. The unhurried minor-key melody grows from unison into breathtaking chordal harmonies, eventually flowing into a polyphonic texture as "the music overtakes you and seeps through your soul." The newly penned poem speaks of finding solace where you least expect it and carrying that quiet strength home. An alternate final cadence accommodates choirs without low basses.
