The author and composer, Sinn Sisamouth, is the Cambodian equal to Nat King Cole or Frank Sinatra. Sisamouth also became a martyr for his country. The musical setting of this beloved piece offers a more abstract and cinematic aesthetic. It is a stunning piece of choral art.
