Description:
Christopher Alexander’s December, set to the charming text of Harriet F. Blodgett, captures the warmth and nostalgia of the holiday season. With images of holly, mistletoe, Christmas chimes, and stockings in a row, the poem reflects on the simple gifts December brings. Alexander’s setting underscores this cozy spirit with gentle lines and a glowing choral sound, creating a piece that feels both inviting and heartfelt.
